Turn on Plays
Identification without action is a dashboard you will stop checking. Plays are how Bryn acts on what it sees: automated workflows that fire when an account does something that matters, inside rules you set once.
Anatomy of a Play
- Trigger: what the account did. Signals and score thresholds, like
pricing_page_viewedplus a climbing intent score. - Conditions: who it applies to. Your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), trial state, account attributes.
- Actions: what happens. Alert Slack, draft outreach, update the CRM. Outbound actions can hold for a human review first.
The pre-built library
Bryn ships with Plays authored for the common moments. The first three are on for new workspaces; the rest wait for you:
A qualified account is active on your site right now; the channel hears about it with the evidence attached.
Intent keeps rising on a good-fit account, so Bryn drafts the outreach note and holds it for a salesperson.
A trial goes quiet before day 14; the owner gets a heads-up and a suggested rescue.
A visitor resolves to a company matching your ICP; sales knows the same day.
Bryn assembles what an account did and recommends what to do about it.
Someone starts a demo and bails; Bryn flags it so the thread does not go cold.
Enable your first Play
- 1Open Plays
In the Bryn dashboard, go to Plays. Each Play shows its trigger and what it will do.
- 2Review the rules
Check the trigger and conditions read the way you want. The signals it references come from your mapping.
- 3Switch it on
Flip the toggle. A Play starts or stops right away, and nothing runs while it is off.
You'll know it worked when the Play shows as active, and the first matching account produces its action: watch Activity for the run and your Slack channel for the alert.
Stay in control
Autonomy inside bounds is the whole design. Every control is a feature you can point your reviewers at:
- Nothing sends without you. Plays with outbound actions hold the run for review: the held run shows in Activity with an Unhold button, or an approval link in Slack.
- The kill switch is a single click. Pause this Play stops one; Pause all Plays stops everything at once, and resuming is just as fast.
- Every action is on the record. The Audit log captures every signal, score, match, and execution: your work record, and the same trail your CFO and DPO inherit.
- Cooldowns stop the same Play re-firing on the same account, a week by default.
