Create PostHog Account
- Go to https://posthog.com
- Sign up for an account or log in to your existing workspace

Create Personal API Key
- Go to PostHog Settings > Personal API Keys (not Project API Keys)
- Click Create Personal API Key
- Select MCP Server preset when creating the key
- Copy the generated API key (starts with
phx_)

Connect to Nexus
- Add the PostHog server to your Nexus environment
- Enter your Personal API key when prompted

Test Connection
Start with a simple command like “Show me the top 10 events in my project” to verify the connection works properly.
Use the MCP Server preset when creating your Personal API Key for optimal permissions and security.
